We headed down to Pleasanton to celebrate Christmas with everyone the Thursday before Christmas Eve. Daniel had a meeting on that Friday so it worked out for us to go down on Thursday so we could spend an extra day there. We decided a long time ago that once we had children and they were old enough to understand, that we wanted to celebrate Christmas morning at home as a family. We really enjoyed our couple of days there and as jam packed as they were we wouldn't have had it any other way.
It is so rare for a family of this size to really truly get along and enjoy each other's company as much as we all do. It is also rare that we are all able to get together at one time. It was so nice just hanging out and doing nothing but catching up and reminiscing about old times. I hope that we always enjoy getting together and I really hope that our children all grow up to do the same. It's a little crazy to think that Christmas next year, we will be adding 2 more kiddos to the bunch!
